In a month of blessing we lost an amazing and humble person who represented Pakistan across the globe. He was the national asset, Amjad Sabri killed in Karachi gun attack by riders, unidentified miscreants in the Liaquatabad area. Sources indicated that four unidentified gunmen a top two motorcycles opened fire at his car while he was heading towards the studio of a private television channel to participate in Iftari transmission. Sources says to police stated that at least 11bullets were fired at the car while 5 hit him including head, leg and chest.
Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif took notice of the incident and demanded report of the incident from Sindh Chief Minister (CM) Qaim Ali Shah. Waseem Akhter from (MQM) was found very grieved at his house.
Majority channels reporters are at Amjad Sabri’s house and waiting to know about his Tadfeen, his dead body has still not reached his home, as his siblings are in America and England, whole nation is crying on this horrible incident. The question raised in the public is Why was this harmless person brutally killed, he was Pakistan’s asset, the one who represented Qawali in Pakistan and across the globe just due to him youngsters loved listening to Qawali. This loss can never be recovered.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan condemned the incident and stated that the attack on Sabri was a question mark over the measures taken by the provincial government to ensure peace in the province. Khan demanded that the culprits be apprehended as soon as possible and be awarded with befitting punishment.
